What would you want to know about me? Let’s see here… I first started photography when I was 13-years-old. My Dad built a darkroom in our basement and I fell in love with the craft. My love for photography continued to grow throughout my years at Colorado State University (Go Rams!) where I earned my Bachelors of Fine Arts. I founded Bridget Marie Images in 2010 and I still wake up 7 years later excited that this is my career. I am a sucker for big ball gowns and sentimental touches on a wedding day. Funky DIY centerpieces and pops of bright colors make the art-nerd in me excited. And I drool over creamy, dreamy natural light. I am the kind of photographer that will tromp through weeds or balance over rocks in a stream to capture the pure moment between the couple.
Mostly, I value my clients with all my heart because I would not be where I am today without them.
On a more personal note, I enjoy working with people who get a kick out of punny jokes. My favorite genre of music is oldies. Yellow is both my happy color and my power color. Carbs are my favorite food. I am a Colorado native and enjoy winter sports that don’t involve standing and moving downhill at the same time (e.g. sledding, snowmobiling, etc ). I am athletic in many areas and even participate in some competitive leagues, such as skee-ball, corn hole, and putt-putt golf…you know…only the really cardio intensive type stuff. My main lifelong goal is to enjoy the moments we are given. I think that’s part of why I’m drawn to photographing people, their life milestones and memories with loved ones. I truly get joy from capturing people connecting, laughing and loving. So in a word, I am an understated-bold-rooted-thinker-photographer-genuine-art nerd-excited-splash-of-yellow woman. And I can’t wait to work with you!
Contact me, I would love to hear from you!
